Born in Royal Oak, Michigan, USA
Resides in Seaford, New York, USA
Colette started training with weights when she was just 19 years old, but didn’t start competing until she was 25. Colette turned pro at the 2004 World Amateur Bodybuilding Competition and that same year also received a second pro card at the North American Championship.
“Bodybuilding is a way of life. I love the way it makes me feel and I feel empowered every day of my life. What else can make you feel like that? My body is like a piece of clay. I will continue to mold and sculpt it until I die. I don’t think I will ever be satisfied and that is what makes bodybuilding so addicting.”
Competition Highlights: 2001-02 USA Championship – 1st place heavyweight; 2004 World Universe – 1st place overall; 2004 North American Championship – 1st place overall; 2006 Europa Super Show – 3rd place; 2006 Ms. Olympia – 13th place; 2007 Ms. International – 14th place; and 2008 Ms. International – 15th place
